Our tallow is sourced from a certified organic butcher in Limburg, who works closely with local farmers. We use fat from grass-fed Black Angus cows — a conscious choice for both quality and traceability.
Whenever possible, we choose organic ingredients. It’s better for you, and better for the planet.
Nope. Most of our products are available in an unscented version — no added fragrances at all. For scented products, we only use pure essential oils.
Absolutely. That’s exactly who we make them for. Our formulas are simple, nourishing, and gentle. And for those who are extra sensitive, we offer unscented versions without any irritants.
Our products have a shelf life of 6 to 12 months after opening. Unopened you can store the products 30 months.
No, please don’t. Tallow is a firm fat, much like butter. Keep your product at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and out of the fridge, to keep it smooth and spreadable.
Yes, all of our products are safe to use during pregnancy and suitable for little ones too.
Absolutely. Many of our customers use them as a daily face cream, nighttime moisturizer, or even lip balm.
Yes. We use glass jars and metal tins wherever possible — reusable, recyclable, and they look great on your shelf too.

If you order on a weekday before 19:00 (CET) in the Netherlands, your order will ship out the same day with DHL.
Orders from the rest of the world placed before 18:00 (CET) will ship the same day with DHL or PostNL, subject to stock availability and unforeseen circumstances.
Yes, returns are accepted as long as the item is unopened and in its original packaging. Return shipping is at your own expense — Dutch Heritage Cosmetics does not cover return costs. Go to our Refunds & Return page for more information.
